This week has been more calm than last week, but I know it is going to be crazy again the next couple weeks. I have another visit for one job, am hoping to get some work for Lifebushido, would love to get more cake orders, and have a couple portable parties out for Posh that I will have to get taken care of. I am hoping my husband will get things figured out for me to start doing the Baby Signs also, but I want to make sure it is all lined up first so I don't do something wrong. I still have to get my reseller's permit before I can start doing any classes, but I am anxious to get started.
I am hoping to get a few more parties and events lined up for Posh as well. I am also hoping to get a few recruits. I missed out on my 60 day props because I needed one recruit but didn't have any. If I can get 3 recruits by January 9th, I can get my 90 day props, which would be awesome! I was hoping to get my recruits by the end of the year so they could get their starter kits for $88 rather than the normal $99. I guess I still have a few days left, huh?

Posh for men!
Life got crazy on me... I got hired by Lifebushido and had to do a crazy week of new hire tasks on top of a home study for an adoptive family, Posh show and parties, and being mom/wife. I am also still very new to blogging and I forget to get on and post anything. I will try to get better.
Exciting news from Perfectly Posh - we now have products just for men! Shaving sugar scrub and after shave cream. Check it out on my website at www.perfectlyposh.us/JessicaD

Lifebushido
I am in the application process with a company called Lifebushido. In this process, I am participating in their Triangle option. The Triangle is like a small team of other applicants working together on a creative project. This is an opportunity to be part of a team or group even though this is a work-from-home opportunity. The other members of my Triangle are from other parts of the country but we get to work together to be creative and use our own skills to put together a creative project for Lifebushido. We each have our own role in the group but by working together we have more brain power and creative juices to use for the project. I love that we are able to come up with the project on our own rather than have someone tell us what to do. It is fun to be part of a team and not just working alone since I am working from home. It makes me feel connected with others and I know I have people I can turn to if I run into a roadblock or my creativity stalls briefly. This seems to be a great company and I am hoping I get the opportunity to add this to my list of small jobs I do to help bring in money for our family.

Excited!
I am excited for the upcoming expo I will have a booth at on November 17th in Riverton. It will be my first event with Posh and I am hoping it goes well. I am trying to figure out what all to have on hand for the expo and how much to order in preparation. I don't want to have too much but I also want to make sure I have enough that people don't turn away. They can always place an order, but sometimes people want to be able to purchase right away and not have to wait for an order to come in. Being my first event I am unsure what to expect and how much to have on hand.
On another note, I am excited that I am now certified as a Baby Signs® Independent Certified Instructor. I am waiting for my website to get set up, but I am ready to start booking classes and teaching. Now to get the word out that I am available for this program as well...

New to blogging
I am new to blogging, but thought it would be fun to have a place to share my adventures. I am starting a new venture in my career as I transition into working from home so I can be home with my daughter (and future children) but still bring in some money so my husband can spend time with the family rather than having to work extra to make up for my transition to staying home. I have put a lot on my plate with several small jobs and thought it would be fun to write about this adventure.
So the mini jobs I have taken up are as follows:
Building my cake decorating business (Sweet Love Cake Creations)
Becoming a Baby Signs ® Independent Certified Instructor
Becoming an independent consultant for Perfectly Posh
working on a contract basis for a non-profit adoption agency
Wish me luck on this adventure. I will continue to share the experiences I have.
